Once again i have found that large hotel chains have bought land and destroyed the beauty of the island. It would make more sense for the mayor to stop taking back handers from the developers and put the money into local business giving the island people a chance.
When will local people wake up to the corruption,the island's forest is being cut down wild life such as the fruit bats are all but extinct its a total travisty that this is allowed to happen

we continue to go back to this white sand island of boracay... and we usually stay at la carmela. children love to play with the other kids in the swimming pool. we totally enjoy having our early breakfast buffet and dinner as well by the seaside....
