The owners of Sandals, Sandra and Allen decided to set up home in Boracay around 3 years ago as their daughter has lived here for many years and started her own family here.

Wanting to be close to the family, they decided to build a family home for themselves to live 6 months of the year. As the house got bigger, situated right on the beach path in beautiful quiet and peaceful Angol they thought it would be a nice idea to add few rooms at the bottom to accommodate family. Then as people started to enquire they decided to now open the rooms up for guest to also enjoy their paradise!

Sandra and Allan then had the flip flop, or slipper style ‘Sandal' sign hand crafted from solid wood, put their names together and named their amazing home ‘Sandals'.
